Crap, shit, hell!!!

The POA is a NO GO. It has to be corrected.

Agency suggested I call the Consulate so I did. She seemed surprised to hear about her error - I thought she was surprised because she would have to redo it..........but no.........she was surprised (and upset) because apparently she has been stamping lots of them 2004 and didn't know it!!!! I told her I would send it back and she said she would re stamp it.

Called agency back and NO!!! She can't just re-stamp it. So I had to call her back and let her know that she has to remove the receipt and complete a new one with all of the same exact information (batch #, receipt #, etc) and then staple it..........and..........the little round stamp must be lined up exactly so that half is on the new receipt and half is on the document but it has to be lined up to match the half of the stamp already on the document. She seemed to understand. We'll see. If it's wrong this time I am driving to Houston.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!! Talk about bureaucracy!!!!!!!

I also had to overnight it and enclose an pre-paid envelope for them to overnight it back. Oh, and I had to ask her for a one day turn around. This is going to be a VERY expensive document.

Crap! Shit! Hell!

SHIT!!! DOUBLE SHIT!

I'm so sorry, Karen! that is horrifying!

How could they make such an error. Argh!!!!!!! Can you get on a plane and fly to Guatemala City and sign the POA en espanol?!

Gawd, I hope she does it right this time, I'll be thinking of you.

Hey, immigration cashed my check for the I-600A, do you think this means they're working on it right now?! How long did they take to approve yours, do you remember?

take care,
erica

Oh NO!!! So sorry to hear that crap news. Sending you good thoughts.

Well, at least you caught it early. I'm sorry you have to go through so much crap. You are smart to have sent them a return envelope. Stay on them! Keep us posted!
Love,
Holly

Oh FFS! I'm sorry sweetie but look on the bright side... you caught it early! The important thing that it's being corrected and that the translation process has started. That takes about a week so by the time ou get the POA back... you'll be as right as rain :)

{{{{HUGS}}}}}

What the fuck?

That BLOWS! Stupid bureacracy. I hope it gets resolved quickly.

grrr, how frustrating

RAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like I need to pay a visit to TX and put a fire under someone....

SO SORRY that this crapola happened, honey. THIS STINKS!!! But like Holly said....Good thing YOU were paying such close attention..unlike some other people.

Oh no! That sucks honey, I am so sorry! It is weird though, all of our coincidences. Our POA was rejected too and we had to do a new one. The second one was processed really quickly though. I bet that will be the last error and you will fly thru the rest of the process. I'm about to e-mail you with the link to the Bella pictures. I can't wait to see Friolijo. Hint. Hint.(I hope I got that right!)Such a cute nickname! I was going to ramble on about a few other things, but I think I will put them in the e-mail. Mwah!
