October 14th was my wedding day. Ten (YES - TEN) years ago today I married my sweetie. If I had to go back and do it all over.........yes, I would marry him again. He is a great husband and I am a very lucky girl.
A lot has happened in the past 10 years. So much has changed, but in a way, there are a lot of things that haven't changed. We still love each other, we still love to go on vacation, we still don't fight very much (sure we piss each other off but why fight about that?.......life is too short).
And now, here we are 10 years later and we have a baby that will be coming into our lives. Very exciting.
There is one little bitch I have to share though.
We were supposed to be spending this anniversary soaking up the sun and sharing Rum punches in Hawaii. For probably the past 5 years we have talked about spending our 10th anniversary in Hawaii. Even if Hawaii wasn't possible, we were supposed to be on a cruise or on some other magical island with rum and a white sand beach. We spent our honeymoon on a cruise, and we have spent 2 wonderful anniversaries on cruises........but not this year. This year we are too broke from paying on failed IVF and now international adoption. Infertility is an EXPENSIVE problem!!!!!!!!!
So cheers to those who are laying in OUR beach chairs, on OUR beautiful beach, drinking OUR wonderfully delicious Rum drinks, on OUR anniversary!!!! I hope you are enjoying it at least a 10th of how much WE would be enjoying it!!!!!
I don't know if my dear hubby reads my blog or not. I know I told him about it several months ago when I was starting it but we really haven't talked about it since then so I don't know if he is keeping up with it or not. But if he is - I love you honey! And YES - I would marry you all over again.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!
Wow, 10 years. That's awesome. And it definitely deserves a big fruity-drinked celebration. Can you at least go out for a big ass dinner by an ocean or a lake or something? Hope so!
