Still waiting?
If you are wondering if I am still waiting - I really couldn't tell you.
The POA came in the mail yesterday and everything looked great. Well, unless the date is important. The Consulate stamped it September 26, 2004. Last time I checked we are in 2005.
I have heard that PGN in Guatemala will kick you out for a misspelling, wrong date, anything they can find. Now what I don't know is will PGN actually see the POA or if it just registered with the court.
I left a message for our case worker but she hasn't called me back. I am about to leave for a dental appointment so I am taking the POA to the agency and dropping it off. I can only hope that it will be OK and I don't have to re-do the whole damn document.
Some good news - Our dossier is in Guatmela as of yesterday!!! (except for the "*^%* POA) It will now be translated. This is a good thing, at least we are moving along with something.
Oh I do have a funny too. I was looking at my stats and referring sites and ran across a good one. Somebody did a search on ask.com for "how long has anybody spent time in jail for selling food stamps". I must say that I can't for the life of my WHY this search would find my blog!!!!!!!!!!!
